We arrived a day early for our rafting experience and were welcomed in to join that afternoon. After a quick safety briefing and change into warmer clothes we were in the river paddling. Due to the excellent briefing by Col our raft easily and safely navigated the rapids with no flipping - and even took the opportunity to jump out the raft to swim down one set rapids. This was my first rafting trip and would do it again in a heartbeat

This was our only geothermal paradise we chose to visit as we got to see active natural geysers , boiling hot springs and bubbling mud pools, biggest silica terraces of vibrant colours. We found this an easy walk through native bushwalk through this untouched geothermal landscape as well as seeing a geothermal cave.

The skipper was great even though it was his first trip his commentary was very entertaining. Please arrive on time as the sun waits for no one to set. The bar was also great fun. C
