*** EXPERIENCE 2 FOR 1 SPECIAL - SAVE UP TO $35!***
Discover the amazing Redwoods Treewalk by day and night!
With the Redwoods Day & Night Special you get both amazing experiences for the price of one!
Walk high amongst the majestic Redwood trees. Feel the spirit of Rotorua’s iconic Redwood Forest from above and up close to these 120-year-old gentle giants. This suspended 30-minute ecological walk provides a unique bird’s eye perspective of the forest, capturing its picturesque beauty and ambiance.
This one of a kind New Zealand Treewalk is 700 metres long and consists of a series of 28 suspension bridges which traverse between 27 majestic 120-year-old Redwood Trees. From 6 metres to 20 metres above the forest at its peak, the walkway has been specifically designed and constructed to preserve the trees, plants and the surrounding natural environment.
The walkway has been uniquely constructed using a New Zealand-first technologically designed sling, which is suspended from the redwood trees. This ecological walk is perfect as a wet weather activity with the stunning colours of the forest coming to life in the rain.
The Nightlights experience features lanterns from NZ design champion David Trubridge, a design experience that is truly memorable and magical. Enjoy at your own pace with no safety harness or training required and appreciate the peacefulness and spirit of this special forest. Leave feeling inspired, refreshed and rejuvenated.
***This special entitles you to both a Day walk and Nightlights experience and is valid until 30 November 2021.***
An absolutely super experience! We did both of the walks, during the day and at night! 2 different experiences but each offered something unique. Really good fun! Very well organised, super great interested staff! Information available through the walks. Very busy on the night walk, quite a big queue, but still right time and space between groups in the trees. Highly recommended, I will return. Excellent xx
Put one foot out of place and your accused of breaking rules. Slip on the wet bridges and your accused of breaking the rules. Walk nicely across the bridges and still accused of breaking the rules. Don’t get to enjoy it because they follow you right around the whole walk sticking right up your ass telling you your constantly breaking the rules when your tryna just walk nicely. Won’t ever return. Highly disappointed. Definitely not how paying customers should be treated. Sam and Alaina, the rudest people I have ever come across.
We went during the day, and came back at night for the night experience, but found the queue far too long - it would have taken hours to get through. Basically they oversold the event. We were leaving Rotorua the next day, and they wouldn't extend the ticket to last for another trip to Rotorua. "We got everyone through by midnight" they said. A) Pretty sure lots of people would have bailed after seeing the queue stretch for miles. B) I've got better things to do with my evening than stand in a queue for 4 hours, thanks. So, likely worth doing, but be wary of timing as they clearly have no qualms about over sellimg and have no time slots on the booking (I'm still a little bitter about it!).

Fun, Scary, Romantic, Great Experience
Brought my wife to experience this, knowing she is afraid of heights. Guessing correctly with fingers crossed that this is a great introduction for heights to facing her fears. We'll worth it as my title says, it was fun, it was jittery scary, very romantic way to enjoy nature, and great experience for all to try it out. Loved it!
