Prop up a bean bag or snuggle under some blankets and have your camera at the ready to capture some of the most breathtaking views around, taking in the popular Te Kopua and Acacia Bays en route. If you're game, try your luck at giving the crew a hand hoisting the sails or even taking a turn at the wheel!

You will be in awe upon reaching the Maori Rock Carvings embedded in the towering cliff face looming 10 meters high above. Only viewable from the water, these dramatic works are some of the largest rock art of their kind in the world and will be sure to impress!

Amazing experience

Skipper Sarah is a very informative, funny and down to earth host. She will even let you take the wheel if you want to have a turn. My daughter and I had a wonderful time, reclining in the warm sun on the bean bags, taking in the gorgeous scenery. The rock carvings were cool and we enjoyed the complementary can of L&P. Thanks for the experience Fearless.

Fabulous!

I’ve taken my daughter and friend on this wonderful boat trip twice in the last month as we all enjoyed it so much. The boat itself is beautiful, the owners are very nice people and informative, and the Maori carvings are fascinating. A highlight for me is swimming in the clear water from the side of the boat. If I’m in Taupo again, I’ll certainly be going on Sail Fearless for a third time.

Thanks once again Sally, twice in about two months, that's the greatest compliment for us as it really shows how much you liked it. It was a pleasure to have you on board again and we are looking forward to the third time. And thank you for the photo, so good that you had your waterproof camera with you this time ^^ All the best for you David & Jess
