Tongariro National Park is one of the oldest National Parks in the world. It is a "Dual World Heritage Site", located in the Central North Island, in the Ruapheu district.
This amazing area has 3 active volcanoes and you get the chance to explore them by foot. There is an abundance of short walks, day hikes and multi-day hikes. The choice is yours to be as free as you like.
We are based in National Park Village overlooking our majestic volcanoes - Meaning we are super close! We have various departure times going to the Tongariro Crossing/ Tongariro Northern Circuit & Whakapapa Village.
No need to book a return time from the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. Just finish your hike and catch the next available bus back!

Freundlich, schnell, flexibel
Der Shuttle Service ist super praktisch, da man sonst schlecht von einem Ende zum anderen kommt. Der Preis vielleicht für eine so kurze Busfahrt relativ hoch, aber es lohnt sich. Wir hatten einen sehr netten Fahrer.

Eine unglaubliche Wanderung
Mit dem Shuttle hat alles bestens geklappt: pünktlich, gut organisiert, netter Fahrer. Und die Wanderung: ein absolutes Highlight!

Shuttle Service super!
Der Shuttle Service war pünktlich und nett. Es gab auch bei der Ankunft kurz Informationen zum Track und Wetter. Wir hatten das Glück, dass sogar ein Shuttle um 12:30 Uhr wieder zurück gefahren ist, so mussten wir nur eine Stunde warten (4:40 Stunden für den Track 19,4 kn gebraucht). Der Track war leider neblig, komplett ohne Aussicht auf die Krater und sonstiges oben, also die Atmosphäre lohnt sich hier leider nicht wirklich. An sich sehr abenteuerlich, wer keine Aussicht braucht und einfach abenteuerlich laufen will kann ihn auch bei schlechtem Wetter machen, ansonsten auf gutes Wetter warten! Habe nicht wirklich etwas aus Herr der Ringe erkannt wegen dem doofen Nebel, echt schade!

Yes its tough on cloudy days especially when its thick for the day. It creates an err feeling climbing over the active volcanoes . Thanks for choosing to travel with us

Super Unternehmen!
Unsere Gruppe ist versehentlich 15 Minuten nach Abfahrt gekommen und der Bus ist extra nochmal zurück gefahren und hat nach uns gesucht, um uns mitzunehmen und auf dem Rückweg nimmt der Bus einen sogar nach der letzten Abfahrtszeit noch mit und holt sogar vom Start Leute ab, die aufgegeben haben. Das gesamte Team ist durchweg freundlich und das Unternehmen ist wirklich super.
