Wai-O-Tapu is perfect for the whole family and is suitable for all levels of ability, offering a range of differing walking tracks each showcasing stunning geothermal sights.
Departing your central Rotorua accommodation 8.00am or 1pm, your friendly local driver will take you to Wai-O-Tapu where you will have 4 hours to explore as you please before meeting your driver back at 12.30pm (Morning option) & 5.30pm (Afternoon option)
If you select the morning option, be sure to be at the Lady Knox Geyser at 10.15am to witness her breathtaking daily eruption! - You’ll definitely want to have your camera at the ready for this! Please note that the Lady Knox Geyser only erupts in the morning and will not be avaliable to view if you book for the afternoon option.

Super Tour!
Geoff hat uns auf der Hinfahrt viel über die Umgebung erzählt. Zuerst haben wir am Mud Pool angehalten, anschließend sind wir zu Wai-O-Tapu gefahren und konnten uns dort eine Stunde umschauen. Er hat uns dann zu Lady Knox gefahren und im Anschluss wieder zurück zu Wai-O-Tapu. Die Zeit zum Erkunden war vollkommen ausreichend, Geoff ist sehr freundlich und die Tour kann ich jedem empfehlen!

Feedback for the transfer
Schönen guten Tag, der Transfer war sehr unkompliziert und angenehm. Der Fahrer war sehr erfahren und man merkte an seiner Freundlichkeit sofort, dass er seinen Job genießt. Sein Fachwissen über die Gegend war ausgeprägt und man profitierte durch seine weitgefächterte Kenntnisse in vielerlei Hinsicht. Zudem war der Fahrer per Telefon jederzeit erreichbar, so konnte in meinem Fall sogar die Abholzeiten spontan individuell auf mich abgestimmt werden. Sehr angenehm, danke. Zu den Wai-O-Taupo Termal Wonderland brauche ich garnicht viel zu sagen ... es war eine unfassbare Erfahrung diese Seite der Natur in live sehen zu können. Grüße und euch viel Spaß bei der Tour, es lohnt sehr aus meiner Sicht :)

Fantastic!
Great morning, our tour guide/driver was very informative and gave us lots of extra information about New Zealand on the drive. We visited the mud baths, thermal pools and a geyser, all in all a fab tour!

Tolle Erfahrung & Rarität!
Genial was die Natur erschaffen hat/kann! Der Guide hat uns einiges erklärt über die Natur auf dem Weg zum „Park“. Das waren Insider Infos, die ich super fand! Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Man kommt schneller überall hin, weil der Guide einem alle „Tricks“ verrät und man ist vor der Masse überall!
