Explore the subterranean scenery of the Tumu Tumu cave taking in the unique glowworms and amazing limestone formations created beneath the earth over millions of years. This experience is a fantastic way for almost anyone to see the wonder of Waitomo's underground world first hand.

Photography: Personalised photos are provided to clients via internet at no extra charge. No client photography equipment is permitted. Please inquire if you require a private photography tour.
Fitness Test: If the guide on the day has any doubt about a client’s fitness they may ask them to prove it by completing a fitness test. One quick and simple test we may use is “to step up and down a 20 cm (8 inches) step not less than 45 times in 60 seconds”. We strongly recommend clients complete this test before they book their activity and before they travel to Waitomo. Clients may also be requested to submit to breath-testing for alcohol or other drugs. Where appropriate, guides may at their sole discretion cancel a departure or remove an unsuitable client from a departing trip for any safety-related reason.

운 좋게도 저희 부부 둘과 가이드만 함께 체험하게 되어 매우 프라이빗했고 이 업체만 들어갈 수 있는 곳이었기 때문에 다른 사람들이 없어 훨씬 좋았습니다. 체험시간도 2시간 정도 되는 것 같았어요 길어서 좋았습니다. 글로우웜 엄청 엄청 많이 볼 수 있습니다. 튜브타고 누워서 떠다니며 글로우웜도 볼 수 있고 동굴 이곳저곳 좁은 곳을 기어가거나 바위를 넘으며 새로운 체험을 할 수 있었습니다 강추합니당

정말 최고였어요
동굴에 들어가 원래상태 그대로의 동굴을 탐험합니다. 넘어지면 실제로 위험하기도 하구요, 키보더 높은 물에 들어가 수영하는게 가장 재미있었습니다. 튜브를 이용해 이동하는곳도 있지먼 맨몸으로 가야하는곳도 있어요. 옷이 물에 뜨기때문에 그냥 다리만 올리고있으면 뜨긴 하는데, 수영을 못해서 걱정했지만 크게 문제는 없었구요. 스스로 빛을 내는 벌레도 볼 수 있고, 재미있는 경험이었습니다. 가이드분들도 굉장히 친절하시고, 유머감각이 뛰어나셨습니다. 저희 차 문제도 해결해주셨어요! 정말 두분들 덕분에 살았습니다.

Half day caving adventure
Excellent day in Waitomo navigating through a cave. Our guides drove us down to the start of the cave. The day and what the plan was outlined to us very clearly with some excellent comedy along the way. We were kitted up with our wet suits, helmet and light and off we went into the cave. Inside the cave we had a lot of fun finding tight gaps to squeeze through, mud to crawl in and water to swim and float through. Even though it was winter (and we had just jumped off a plane from hot LA) we were not cold. In the middle of the trip we had a hot drink and snack. That was very nice and rewarding. I highly recommend this experience. It’ was an awesome day that our group very much enjoyed.

Amazing Adventure
Took my parents for my dads 60th and it was awesome. Just the right length, the guides were funny and super knowledgeable and made the whole experience very enjoyable. Thanks Guys!
