It was very interesting to visit a living Maori village and see the place where the tourism industry of NZ started. The guide was friendly and happy to answer any questions, the cultural performance was nice, and nature was fantastic. Do not miss to have a steam-cooked corn at the local café and walk the geothermal nature trails.
