Relaxing and Kid Friendly
We had a wonderful experience visiting Taupō DeBretts with our 4-year-old. It’s very family-friendly, with warm, clean pools that were safe and fun for kids while still relaxing for adults. The private spa was a great addition — peaceful, well maintained, and perfect for some quiet relaxation as a family. Overall, excellent facilities and a fantastic experience for both kids and adults. A must-visit when in Taupō.

Awesome cloudy-day-experience
It was a great little waterpark. Not crowded at all even though we went mid December (on a partly cloudy day though). It was pure wellness to relax in the warm waters. And the kids enjoyed the less heated pools a lot. The 40°C pools were to warm to play in for our children. I guess others felt the same. But there was a 30°C pool as well. That one might have had to be a bit bigger on more crowded days. The staff was friendly and there were life savers around the pool area.

The worst hot spring
water is so dirty. It can't be describe just dirt. After we have been there, my son got eye infection. My daughter got bad skin trouble, Atopy. I got lots of pimple on my face. Literally, it was worst.

Hi Kelly. We are sorry that you felt this way. Our pools are actually drained, cleaned, and refilled every night, so this should never be an issue.

Excellent facility and service
I arrived at the waterpark only to find I was the only one there. It was a lovely couple of hours wandering between pools. Lovely place.
