Deborah said... A trip back in time to when smokers lit up without any consideration for others. Perhaps Lakeland Queen should rename this the "Smokers Cruise.'? The only place outside upstairs on this coffee cruise is a small "deck" next to the Captain's cabin. The company allows both smoking and vaping on the one deck that customers would like to look out from! I am sure most people want to take in the views (that's what we paid for) rather than taking in others second hand smoke... The company does not care and states that they do not want to discriminate so are happy to carry on with this disgusting situation. Smoke wafts back into the upstairs dining area. Perhaps they could have smokers standing underneath the funnels then this "paddle steamer" may look a little more realistic with smoke coming out of the funnels instead of into the dining room... Surely smokers and vapers can cope for ONE HOUR on this cruise without having to send their poisonous fumes around the boat? Why are the management of this cruise not living in the 21st century. Roll on smoke free NZ in 2025!!
