Small size boat is the best
Small size boat is definitely the to-go Smaller boat is able to get to the Stirling falls nearer. Commentaries from boat captains is funny.

Magical Trip
Couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Moody, misty and just what we’d hoped for in Milford Sound. The Book Me discount was an added bonus and easy to redeem at the Mitre Peak counter. Easy instructions to find the terminal on the website and recommend going in Winter. No queues or traffic. Mitre Peak cruises were helpful, informative, and expert navigators on the choppy waters near the sea. Saw seals basking on rocks in the rain and loved the open top boat for uninterrupted views of the towering cliff faces we sailed past. Took all the wet weather gear and needed it all but that was part of the adventure. Want to go back again and do some walks in the area.
