Avoid the crowds on this relaxed exploration of the Blue Mountains! This tour is uniquely designed to avoid the peak hour traffic of Sydney with later departures and returns - maximising our time enjoying the stunning scenery and World Heritage-listed National Park! Witness the changing moods of the Blue Mountains in the late afternoon sunlight and soak up the sunset over the rugged ranges and valleys.
We start with a late morning departure, giving you extra time to explore Sydney before joining this tour. We head 50 kilometres from Sydney CBD, the Blue Mountains is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, and rich in Aboriginal heritage. Unique sandstone formations and steep cliffs make for stunning features on the rugged mountain range, the Blue Mountains is certainly known for its dramatic landscape.
We stop for a picnic lunch and explore the region to view the amazing Jamison Valley. We will get you up close to the storied sandstone formation, the iconic Three Sisters. Take a hike along the impressive bush trails to view one of the most breathtaking waterfalls in New South Wales before settling in to watch the sun sink behind the distant mountains, casting a shadow over the rock formations and forest.
We will take a quick break on the journey home to grab some dinner (at own expense) before we go kangaroo spotting! We check out some secret spots where we are most likely to find wildlife, especially during the more active dusk hours.
Please note a moderate level of fitness is required, includes an approx. 2hrs walking time uneven surfaces.

Derek was a great driver and host - very knowledgeable and had plenty of time for everyone. We got to see everything that was promised including a beautiful sunset , courtesy of great weather .
Mitch did an EXCELLENT job and really went through a lot of effort to ensure that the trip was still great even though it was raining and there was a thick layer of fog all day. I learned a lot about Australia and had some very fun and unique experiences that certainly made up for there being no sun or sunset. You can definitely tell that Mitch was made for this role as his passion for the Blue Mountains is palpable and contagious!
Really great tour. We hit a bunch of cool spots and the guide created a inclusive environment. The day is well timed and not rushed at any point but we still saw a lot.
G'day Sofie, That's fantastic to hear! We're thrilled you had an "awesome experience" on your tour. We strive to showcase the coolest spots while creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, so your feedback is important to us. It's a challenge to see everything while allowing everyone to enjoy each stop, so we're glad we nailed it. We look forward to you traveling with us again.
I think the tour is well organized and everything, but it should be cancelled if there is too much rain. Because then it’s pointless to be the whole day in a bus to see nothing. But Glenn was a very good guide and told many interesting facts and kept morale high.
Hi Andrea, thank you for your review! We are sorry to hear that the weather was not on your side on the day. Unfortunately, we can not control the weather and if we'd cancel tours based on the weather forecast, we would have more unhappy than happy customers. We wish you enjoyable travels and lots of sunshine on your way!

Nice tour
It’s a perfect tour for me, cause I would like to visit blue mountain, but almost all the other blue mountain tour included the wildlife park, I love to see wild life in the wild, but I don’t like to see them in zoo or park, I believe they belongs to the wild! So this one skip the wildlife park, visited the blue mountain, saw nice sunset , and we spotted Kangaroo 🦘 in the wild . Thanks to our super tour guide ( sorry I heard your name is Rich but my friend heard your name Mich )
