Come and experience two of Tasmania's top locations on this two-day tour that will show you the best of Hobart and Bruny Island.
Our first day will take you around the sights of Hobart, through the city streets up to the Mt. Wellington lookout for unrivalled views of the Hobart and beyond.
Get amongst the buzzing vibe of the Salamanca Markets which are full of amazing produce, arts and entertainment. Being one of the world's largest markets there is something for everyone here.
Learn about the history of Richmond where convicts were sent and is the homeplace of Australia's oldest bridge and Catholic church.
In the afternoon, the choice is yours to go to either one or both of the following:
-Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary (entry cost $27pp)
-Mona Museum (entry cost $30pp)
The wildlife sanctuary is full of native wildlife and offers the opportunity to feed some friendly kangaroos and see the famous Tasmanian Devil.
The Mona Museum is full of a quirky collection of both new and old art and also showcases some of the regions top local wines and produce.
*Please note if you choose to do both activities, there is an extra charge on top of the entry fees of $22 to cover your ferry back to the city where you will make your own way back to your accommodation.
Our second day takes us to the postcard-worthy Bruny Island which has the most stunning beaches, national parks, native wildlife and the most amazing local produce.
This tour will take you to the secret spots that only locals know about, through walking tracks, up to lookouts with the most incredible views, and along pristine beaches with the chance to swim in a lagoon. We will be keeping an eye out in the hopes of spotting albino wallabies and other native animals.
There are plenty of options for a delicious lunch (optional extra) and after a break, we will be sampling some of the regions award-winning food and beverages (optional extra). With cheeses, berries, fudge and oysters on offer, your tastebuds will be delighted.
Please note that with rainforest walks, beaches, lookouts and lagoons Bruny Island has so much to see and do that it is impossible to fit it all in one day, so we will decide as a group on the day as to what activities are most suitable.
