Let loose on our exciting vertical slide and take on the thrilling Leap of Faith jump. Built by climbers for climbers, our walls provide for the ultimate vertical experience. Our friendly and experienced team are dedicated to inspiring and challenging everyone to give Rock Climbing a go in a fun and supportive environment. Our state of the art venue is also ideal for parties and team-building exercises.

Clip N Climb Mt Maunganui
My granddaughter had blast. She lived it. The instructions before hand were clear and the walls challenging but doable for a 6 yr old.

Not great
My daughter absolutely loves coming here. However we booked our ticket through book me, and when we arrived we found out there was a holiday program with 40+ children booked in at the same time, no communication between book me and rocktopia. My daughter is autistic and lasted 20 minutes before it was too much with so many kids in there at once. And we left she only spent 20 mins there

Upon arrival we did advise you that we had a programme of 40 children coming into the gym. However 18 of those children were doing the slides and the jumps so that only left 22 children doing the Clip N Climb with your family. If you need to book a quiet session with your daughter then coming during school holidays in the morning is probably not the best thing. If you book after 3pm in the afternoon when we are much quieter and definitely not during a wet rainy school holiday day then I am sure your daughter would have an amazing experience.

Good for the kids
We had a great time at Rocktopia—especially for the kids! The climbing walls were awesome fun, kept them engaged, and gave them a real sense of achievement. A few of the staff were fantastic—friendly and helpful. The only downside was the café experience. It took over an hour to get a drink and a toastie, and that was after we had to follow up. Unfortunately, some staff seemed more focused on chatting than helping. Overall, a fun visit, but I’d recommend eating beforehand to avoid the wait.

Wir waren mit 3 Kinder dort. 4,7 und 8. Fu3alle hat es viele möglichkeiten zum klettern gegeben. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Danke
