Enjoy a day of fun and exploration at the Alice Springs Reptile Centre – home to the largest reptile display in Central Australia!
Round up the family and get ready to discover more than 100 fascinating reptiles of over fifty different species at The Alice Springs Reptile Centre. Our wide range of reptiles are exhibited indoors and outside in naturally landscaped surrounds, giving you an amazing opportunity to get up close and personal with the ‘locals’.
You'll see huge Perentie Goannas, Thorny Devils, Frill-neck Lizards, and many other fascinating lizards plus a varied selection of NT Geckos on display in the amazing Gecko Cave. Terry’s Saltwater Crocodile exhibit has an underwater viewing station meaning you'll feel completely safe as you discover these mighty predators up close and capture some great photos!
The daily show is a must see and includes a fun and informative talk about the reptiles covering topics such as habitats, food, predators, adaptations, snake-bite first aid and how to avoid encounters with snakes in the wild. Afterwards there will even be a supervised handling session of the friendlier lizards and pythons!
What a fantastic way to spend the day - you are bound to create great memories here that will last a lifetime!
