A dramatic, awe inspiring ride that an experienced rider will never forget in a life time.

A dramatic, awe inspiring ride that an experienced rider will never forget in a life time.

For the experienced rider who is really missing the saddle while on holiday! This ride will take you to Waiho beach, and then you will traverse and cross the Omoeroa Bluff.

Enjoy lunch on one of New Zealand's most remote West Coast Beaches, with not another soul in sight, no one!.

On a clear day the vista of the Southern Alps, Mount Cook and Mount Tasman is utterly breathtaking.

This trail takes you through the native bush, over glacial moraine. You may even be lucky enough to see seals or bottlenose dolphins. A lot of trotting and cantering, so make sure you are staying somewhere with a hot hot spa pool!

Minimum 2 riders.

Price: $250 per person

Outstanding!

My daughter and I have done many horse treks over the years but this was by far the best! Our hosts were lovely genuine Kiwis who made us feel welcome from the first minute. The horses were energetic, well mannered and happy to do what was asked of them - unlike many trekking horses!I have no doubt they are equally suited to learner riders as they are for experienced riders. The scenery was breathtaking at every turn and we enjoyed lunch on a stretch of coast with not another soul in sight - magic!!Thank you so much for sharing your "ponies" with us, we will have a lifetime of memories to delight in!

Great day

Booked a 6hr ride in Aug 2014 & was the only person booked due to it being the low season. Went out with the owner Jen & two of her friends. Had a great ride down to the beach where we cantered along the sand & had fantastic views of the mountains covered in snow. Had lunch on the beach & then rode back the way we came. I was riding an Appaloosa called Curry, very easy to ride. All up one of the better rides Ive done, would totally recommend it.
