Glacier Country Helicopters is a local family, owned and operated company. Husband and wife duo Poppy and Gus Gordon who are both commercial pilots started the company in 2014. You’ll find them at the hangar or flying one our helicopters most days.
Our friendly team are certified Qualmark Gold, have received the Traveller’s Choice Award several years and look forward to showing you the glaciers, rainforests and mountains that form our incredible back yard.
**Please note this 25minute flight has the highest rate of cancellation as it only has one flight route & landing site, so there are no back up options if its route is affected unlike the longer flights which have multiple options. The snow on its landing site is seasonal and varies each year so may be an alpine landing (rocky mountain with no snow).

Amazing
We were so lucky to have landed on the snow—it was absolutely a must-do experience. The pilot was excellent and shared so much knowledge with us. I highly recommend them. The whole trip felt 100% safe and incredibly fun!

Wow, what can I say we had a amazing flight it was breathtaking, everything was done so well from updating us on the weather, flights that were going ahead, adjustments when weather turned they were so professional

很不错的体验
先是行程前一晚收到邮件，通知说当天下午1点可能有云雾影响飞行，可以安排上午的。于是改定了上午11点，没想到当天路上堵车，错过了11点的飞行，到达后帮我们免费升级了35分钟的航班。全程坐到了最前排的2个座位。超出预期！！！是位女飞行员Ponny，还帮我们拍了合影， 20NZD，买买买，值得纪念！
