Fantastic value for money, the team were great and the other passengers became a new family
If you're doing this trip to relax on a boat and see the Whiteheaven Beach, then it's the perfect trip ! But if you're doing it to do snorkling and discover the Great Barrier Reef (as we were) then find another trip. Indeed, we did only one snorkling stop the first day in a place with very limited interest. And that's all ! Whereas in the trip descriptive they're talking about many other spots. They're also talking about other spots where we can stop but we didn't stop anywhere else. Just spent the day going to the snorkling spot on day 1 and the Whiteheaven Beach on day 2. The camping has no interest as you go there only to set up your tent and sleep (you don't eat or spend the evening there but on the boat). And the day after you have to be ready very early to go back to Airlie Beach by 8.30. Otherewise the team was very friendly and helpful, the boat confortable and the food good. Maybe a bit missing of experience for some things.
The captain is very good at navigating and sailing but he shouldn't be working with customers. He's absolutely one of the worst people I've ever met! He threatened people to throw their belongings in the ocean, he threatened people to send them home next day, he threatened people to give them a fine, he humiliated people, he said a lot of rude things to the passengers and so on. He told us how terrible passengers we were at every "briefing" and it's impossible to discuss with him. It's his way or the highway. Every time he stepped in to the room, everybody stopped to talk. People was afraid of him.. I have more examples and can continue much more. The boat was leaking from the roof (A LOT) so all our stuff were soaking wet. Jacksson and the german guy was fantastic! Friendly, helpful, understanding, easygoing and professional. Jacksson's food was 5/5! This was suppose to be the last big and fun thing me and my best friend did after our 3 months of travelling. We drove 2000km just for this and spent nights at hotel. i wish i didn't do this trip, even if it was for free! 2 of my friends are going to Whitsundays and I've told them this story in details so they are absolutely not going with this boat. I have 10 more months of travelling and im going to continue to tell people to avoid this boat.. It's time for the grumpy captain to retire. Kind regards, Andreas

Epic Trip!
Cannot thank Alex enough for a once in a lifetime experience. The crew, accommodation & safety were fantastic. My partner & I had no idea what to expect but this trip has been the highlight of our trip so far. Food was delicious, big thanks to Damo! Alex made sure everyone understood the importance of being safe & made us all at ease whenever we needed to. Being the first group on Whitehaven Beach was just one of the little gestures Alex had done to put us first & make it memorable! Thanks again for such an EPIC experience. Chloe & Alex
