Super day with Arnie and crew
We had a wonderfully relaxing day. Truly a day out, with a great balance between boating, visiting the beach, snorkeling, and a walk to a viewpoint. The crew was fantastic, and everything was well taken care of for our 2-year-old son as well. We really enjoyed it.

You get what you pay for.
The Whitsundays, especially Whitehaven beach are spectacular no matter how you travel. Choose carefully the operator you go with, pay that little bit extra to ensure you are receiving an experience which meets your expectations. I will never speak poorly of an operator as we all have off days, but will not rebook with these guys. Staff were friendly and accommodating and worked best with what they had.

Review of Book.me and GSL Whitsundays Tour
I booked a Whitsundays tour through Book.me with GSL. Unfortunately, the night before the tour they cancelled on us, claiming sea conditions were unsafe. The next day, however, we noticed that other companies were still running their tours as normal. It was really disappointing because we had booked well in advance to secure the date, and this was the only day we had available to do the tour. They did offer to reschedule us for another day, but since we didn’t have any extra time, that wasn’t possible. At least they processed a full refund promptly, which I appreciated. Thankfully, we ended up having an amazing day with another company that went above and beyond to make sure we didn’t miss anything. They truly saved our experience and turned what could’ve been a wasted day into one of the best of our trip.

Naja...
Die Tour war leider nicht wie erhofft. Das junge Team war zwar freundlich, aber leider recht unerfahren und das Boot hatte mehrere kleine Mängel, die Zeit gekostet haben (z.B. defekte Rampe zum Ein-/Aussteigen, Probleme mit dem Anker oder beim Hinablassen des Bootes). So hatten wir leider anders als angekündigt kaum Zeit am Strand: Statt der 1-1,5 Std Mittagspause hatten wir gerade mal Zeit für das Essen (wenig vegetarisches Essen zur Verfügung) und hatten uns deshalb sehr auf die angekündigten 1-1,5 Std Strand nach dem Schnorcheln gefreut. Da sagte uns aber dann die Crew, dass wir dafür keine Zeit mehr hätten. Statt am Strand zu entspannen, haben wir stattdessen 20 Min auf dem Boot damit verbracht zuzuschauen, wie die Crew mühsam (aufgrund der Defekte) alles verladen und verräumt hat. Der Loookout selbst war fantastisch und der Strand wäre auch schön gewesen - schade, dass wir ihn nicht genießen konnten...
