The perfect way to spend a day - this walk has it all...
The day will start with a steady climb to the top of Mount Rooper for a stunning (almost) 360 degree view of the Whitsundays. Along the way we'll enjoy sweeping views of Shute Harbour Bay and its sparkling turquoise waters, admire the green covered hills and valleys of the Conway National Park and stop to discover some of the areas native plants and unique inhabitants. There will be plenty of time for photos of the islands once we reach the peak boasting arguably the best views of the Whitsundays from the mainland. From here its mainly downhill on an easy going track through the ever-changing national park. Before you know it you'll be stepping off the track and onto the sun-filled Swamp Bay, a peaceful, secluded beach full of natural treasures. Enjoy morning tea surrounded by an abundance of white coral, rugged, tree-lined shores and sparkling turquoise waters complete with views out to the Whitsunday Island - you’re sure to love every minute.
This tour also includes a photo opportunity at Airlie's original and most scenic port, Shute Harbour.
