Use your Airpoints card with the Air NZ mobile app
You can earn Airpoints Dollars even if you don't have your Airpoints card handy. Just use the Air NZ mobile app instead.
- Download/update the latest version of the Air NZ mobile app
- Open the Air NZ mobile app
- Tap 'Airpoints' at the bottom of the screen
- Tap the Airpoints card image to bring up your digital barcode. This can now be used at all Airpoints retail partners to earn Airpoints Dollars.
- If you're a Silver, Gold or Elite member, you will also see a Travel card image. Tap this to verify your Star Alliance status.
Frequent Flyer Status Extension
You don't need a new Airpoints card for the Frequent Flyer 12-month Status Extension. Simply add your Airpoints number to your bookings so we know it's you, and you'll get your tier membership benefits automatically. This applies for Elite Partners too. Your digital Airpoints card will always show your correct tier expiry date.
Koru Programme Membership Extension
You don't need a new Koru card for the Koru Programme Membership Extension. Simply add your Airpoints number to your bookings so we know it's you, and you'll get your Koru membership benefits automatically. If you need a Koru card for a different reason, call the Koru Contact Centre on 0800 736 000 within New Zealand, or +64 375 0285 from overseas. Replacement fees will apply.
Members who have an active OneSmart™ account will automatically receive a new card prior to the end of their OneSmart expiry date. To replace a lost active OneSmart card, call 0800 787 555 within New Zealand or +64 9 377 8535 from overseas. Replacement fees may apply.
Missing Airpoints card with OneSmart functionality
Could your active, prepaid OneSmart card be between the couch cushions at home? Or on a subway car in New York? It's a good idea to suspend it temporarily. If you find it, you can reactivate it. If it's gone, your money stays safe.
- Log in to your OneSmart Account
- Under 'Settings', select 'Card Settings'
- Select 'Suspend card'
If you do find your card, you can go back to 'Card Settings' to reactivate it and carry on spending.
If you can't find it anywhere, call 0800 787 555 within New Zealand or +64 9 377 8535 from overseas. We'll cancel your lost card permanently, and send you a replacement. Your new card will be pre-loaded with all your remaining funds.
