All Blacks Apprentice terms & conditions

  1. Information on how to enter the promotion forms part of the conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed as acceptance of its terms and conditions.
  2. Promotion commences 6.00pm FRIDAY 22 MAY (NZT) and closes 11.59pm MONDAY 5 JUNE 2017 (NZT). (The “Promotional Period”). Entries received outside the Promotional Period will be ineligible for the draw.

    Only one entry per “Eligible Entrant”. Incomplete entries will not be considered.

  3. Conditions of Entry: Entry into this promotion requires an “Eligible Entrant” to complete the entry form on airnz.co.nz/blackout by 11.59pm MONDAY 5 JUNE 2017 (NZT). No consideration or payment is required to enter.
  4. To be eligible to enter individuals living outside New Zealand must have a current valid passport and be legally entitled to enter New Zealand. Neither Air New Zealand, nor New Zealand Rugby will have any obligation to provide any assistance to the winners to prepare or assist in completing arrival documentation or entry visas.
  5. Employees of Air New Zealand and New Zealand Rugby and their immediate families are not eligible to enter this promotion.
  6. Air New Zealand will award one prize to each of two recipients. The winning entries will be determined by our judges, with the judges having regard to creativity, passion for the All Blacks and any other values that the judges consider relevant, on WEDNESDAY 7 JUNE 2017. Attempts will be made to notify the winners by phone at the contact telephone number in their email entry. If the Promoter, having used reasonable efforts, is unable to contact a winner by 12 NOON FRIDAY 9 JUNE 2017 then the prize is forfeited and the judges’ next preferred option will be considered the winner.
  7. Winners under the age of 18 years must travel to Auckland with a parent or guardian over the age of 18 years.
  8. The prize winners will receive:
    • Return (economy if travelling internationally) fares for the winner and three friends and family members (travelling together) to Auckland to fulfil their All Blacks Apprentice duties. Should one of the winners be Auckland based they will not receive airfares as part of their prize package.
    • Accommodation and meals in Auckland on THURSDAY 15th June and FRIDAY 16th June 2017 for a domestic winner (and their friends and family).
    • An international winner will receive an additional night of accommodation and meals on WEDNESDAY 14th June 2017 (and their friends and family).
    • Airport transfers and transport to the All Blacks vs Manu Samoa game at Eden Park and tickets to the game for the winner and family and friends.
    • Behind-the-scenes experience with the All Blacks team and management for the winner only.
  9. Each prize winner must be available to arrive in Auckland on or before 7.00am THURSDAY 15 JUNE and remain in Auckland until 11.30pm FRIDAY 16 JUNE. If the prize winner is unable to be in Auckland on those dates, the prize will be forfeit.
  10. The Prize winner is responsible for paying all additional costs associated with the promotion including (where applicable) spending money, travel insurance and all other incidentals.
  11. Travel is non-transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash; travel is not eligible for any frequent flyer (including Airpoints Dollars) accrual, upgrades, companion redemption or credit of tier status.
  12. Each eligible entrant grants Air New Zealand and New Zealand Rugby rights and interest in the video and/or photographs or other material submitted as part of the entry to use in the promotion or coverage of the All Blacks Apprentice activity.
  13. Media may be present at the All Blacks Apprentice activity and acceptance of the prize is deemed consent for the Promoter to use the prize winner and any accompanying friends and family’s details and photographs/video for promotional and media purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant. Please refer to Air New Zealand’s Privacy Policy regarding the storage of personal information.
  14. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this promotion.
  15. Neither the Promoter nor any other person or party associated with this promotion shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this promotion or with any prizes offered.
  16. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate. Please refer to Air New Zealand’s Privacy Policy regarding the storage of personal information.
  17. Air New Zealand Conditions of Carriage apply to all flights.
