Koru membership types
Joining Koru is simple to do online, just log into your Airpoints™ account and charge the membership cost to a credit/debit card, or pay with your Airpoints Dollars™.
The different membership types are:
Individual membership
Those over 18 can join Koru for one, two or five years.
Senior membership
Those over 65 can join Koru for a discounted rate, for one, two or five years.
Corporate membership
Offers a discounted rate for organisations joining 10 or more staff. To join as a Corporate member, download or print the application form and email or post to the Koru contact centre at the address below.
Koru membership fees
Koru membership types and prices are outlined in the table below. Membership costs can be paid in full with Airpoints Dollars™ or credit/debit card or on your businesses Air New Zealand Travelcard.
For payments by direct credit, check here and remember to email the Koru contact centre on korucc@airnz.co.nz to confirm your payment has been made. Joining/renewal won't be effective immediately as a member of the team will need to check the direct credit payment before processing your application during business hours. Payment by cheque is no longer accepted.
Koru membership costs are not refundable and cannot be put on hold should your Tier Status change to become an Airpoints™ Gold or Elite member, your Koru membership will run for its full term and is non-transferable.
A copy of your Koru membership receipt will be included with your Welcome Pack. This should arrive at your selected mail address within your contact details in your Airpoints profile, between 10-15 days after payment has been received.

* A joining fee is applicable for both new memberships and existing members who are renewing their membership after one month of expiry of an existing membership.
** New partner memberships are no longer available. Existing memberships will be honoured for their term.
For payment by credit card please process payment online or call the Koru contact centre. To protect your credit card safety please refrain from sending your credit card details by email or fax.
Renew your Koru membership
To renew an Individual or Senior Koru membership, sign into your Airpoints account online and renew your Koru Membership from the My Benefits page.
Remember, we waive your joining fee if you renew your membership within one month of expiry.

Koru membership is not a Star Alliance recognised product.
New Koru Partner memberships (for partners of existing Koru members) are no longer available, however existing Partner memberships will be honoured for their term and you may renew an existing Partner membership if it matches your Koru membership renewal period.
