How to earn
Set Air New Zealand as your earning partner
Join or sign in to your IHG® One Rewards Club account, go to My Account > Preferences and switch your earning method from points to Airline Miles. Select Air New Zealand then enter your Koru number.
Book a qualifying stay with IHG
Make a reservation through one of the approved channels: IHG® central reservation centers, IHG websites, authorised travel agents (excluding online travel agents like Expedia or Booking.com), or directly at the hotel.
Enjoy your stay & earn Airpoints™
Keep your receipt and allow up to 60 days for the points to post.
Airpoints earn rates
Airpoints can be earned at hotels in this group at the following rate:
- InterContinental® Hotels and Resorts, Kimpton® Hotels & Restaurants, Regent® Hotels and Resorts, Six Senses Hotels Resort Spas, Vignette™ Collection when booking a point-eligible rate: 20 per stay on qualifying room rates**
- HUALUXE® Hotels and Resorts, Crowne Plaza®, Hotel Indigo®, EVEN™ Hotels, Holiday Inn®, Holiday Inn Express®, Staybridge Suites®, Candlewood Suites, Avid™ hotels, Voco™, Atwell Suites™, Holiday Inn Club Vacations® when booking a point-eligible rate: 10 per stay on qualifying room rates*
IHG® One Rewards Club members can also convert IHG® One Rewards Club points into Airpoints at the rate of 10,000 points = A25**

* For more information on qualifying stays, how to book and Airpoints eligibility please see the IHG One Rewards Club Terms and conditions. Some properties do not participate in the Koru programme.
** Subject to a minimum of 10,000 points and thereafter in increments of 10,000 points.
Please allow up to 60 days for your Airpoints to appear in your account. Retain your original receipt or invoice in order to claim any missing Airpoints. Claims may be made through your Air New Zealand online account by logging into your account and selecting the My Bookings tab, then the Claim missing Airpoints button. You must claim missing Airpoints within 6 months of your stay.
