Air New Zealand and Bayleys offer Airpoints ‘on the house’
The partnership between Air New Zealand Airpoints and Bayleys means from today members can earn 1 Airpoints Dollar for every $2000 of their property’s sale price, up to a maximum of 500 Airpoints Dollars.
Air New Zealand General Manager Customer Value Hamish Rumbold says today’s announcement is part of the airline’s ongoing focus on growing the Airpoints programme.
“We now have more than 1.8 million Airpoints members who have told us they are always looking for new ways to get flying faster by earning Airpoints Dollars with partners on the ground.
“We’re delighted to have partnered with Bayleys so our customers can now, literally, get a holiday ‘on the house’.”
Bayleys Real Estate Managing Director Mike Bayley says he anticipates the new initiative will increase listing numbers by five percent as vendors realise they can effectively get ‘something of value’ for no extra cost.
“We are thrilled our vendors can now earn Airpoints Dollars which can be spent on flights, upgrades, Koru memberships, and items from the Airpoints store, just for completing a transaction they would have made anyway.
“The offer is available nationwide and includes residential, commercial, industrial, and rural real estate sales, with future potential to evolve into business sales and property services in the future.”
Bayleys joins Audi, Farmlands and Westpac as recent additions to Air New Zealand’s rapidly expanding group of valued partners.
Vendors who are not Airpoints members when they list with Bayleys will be able to sign up to the programme in advance of selling their property.
