Join us for an exciting half-day kayak trip to the rarely visited Browns (Motukorea) Island - a stunning volcanic Island in the Waitemata Harbour that can only be accessed by private boat or sea kayak!
Our expert team of kayak guides will fit you with all necessary equipment and safety gear, then give you a safety briefing before taking to the pristine waters of Waitemata Harbour on a 45 minute guided paddle toward one of Motukorea's sandy beaches.
Soak up stunning views from the water before arriving on the island and enjoying a short 15-minute walk up to the summit above the island crater! This vantage point offers amazing panoramic views toward Auckland city and its beautiful surrounding islands in the Gulf, and your guide will enlighten you with the fascinating history of this part of Auckland's landscape.
On return, you will circle the island to fully soak up its beauty before making your way back to base.
Meeting Point: Departure is from the boat ramp at St Heliers Bay Beach, meeting at 10am. Return is also to St Heliers.
