Paradice Ice Skating Avondale is the Coolest Hotspot in Town. Located in West Auckland, our Olympic-sized arena is your ultimate icy destination where you can skate along to the latest music and lighting effects.

Warm up in the licensed De Frost cafe with a hot chocolate or something stronger! A range of hot and cabinet food is available with combos and platters perfect for a group or party.

The session includes ice skate and helmet hire. Make a day of it with Paradice Ice Skating perfect for the whole family!

Restrictions

  • Minimum age: 3

  • Helmets or Paradice approved safety headbands are mandatory for skaters in our Public Sessions. Skaters may bring their own helmet or our freely available helmets at Paradice. We will also have Safety Headbands available for hire. We encourage wearing of gloves and appropriate clothing.

Child Friendly

  • This experience welcomes families with children.

Legal Drinking Age Enforced

  • To consume Alcohol you must be over the legal drinking age. You may be asked to produce Government Issued ID to prove your age.

    All bookings: are strictly non-refundable and tickets must be used in full; they cannot be partly redeemed.

    Discount bookings: are strictly non-transferable and must be used on the chosen time and date, for the chosen location.

    Standard/full priced bookings: require 48hrs notice for any changes to be considered.

Could be better

not enough benches to sit to change shoes to skates. No dedicated space to leave shoes, it's all just scattered everywhere. There should be hand sanitizers as it feels like the equipment and the place aren't clean.

Staff rude, not run very well

The place was absolutely packed. No one was friendly or that helpful. Charged $13.50 for a skate helper but none left and refused a refund. Needs to be run better or have longer opening hours in school holidays.
