Paradice Ice Skating Botany is the Coolest Hotspot in town. Located in East Auckland, our International sized arena is your ultimate icy destination where you can skate along to the latest music and lighting effects.

Warm up in the licensed De Frost cafe with a hot chocolate or something stronger with a range of hot and cabinet food available, with food combos and platters perfect for any group!

  • Minimum age: 3

  • Helmets or Paradice approved safety headbands are mandatory for skaters in our Public Sessions. Skaters may bring their own helmet or our freely available helmets at Paradice. We will also have Safety Headbands available for hire. We encourage wearing of gloves and appropriate clothing.

Child Friendly

  • This experience welcomes families with children.

Legal Drinking Age Enforced

  • To consume Alcohol you must be over the legal drinking age. You may be asked to produce Government Issued ID to prove your age.

Safety concerns ignored by staff

There were some figure skaters doing spins with their exposed blades at small children's face height pointing out at people, we ask staff to tell them to stop doing spins as it was unsafe to others, and it was clearly stated in Paradice's own safety guidelines, but staff said he didn't see any issues with spinning and just dismissed our safety concerns despite us pointing out it was their own rules, very disappointing that they clearly had no regards to people's safety particularly children. https://www.paradice.co.nz/safety-guidelines/
