Discover the hidden beauties of Waiheke Island with your knowledgeable and passionate guide on this exciting half day tour. Leave the hassle of the city behind and connect with nature as you experience lush native bush treks. Take in the sweet sound of birdsongs and indulge in panoramic views over the islands of the Hauraki Gulf on stunning coastal trails.

Explore the gorgeous forest reserve that will guide you along a magnificent stream to a hidden grove of magical Pohutukawas and Nikau Palms. Be amazed by one of the biggest Kauri trees on the Island and outstanding views over the blue sea from the cliff-tops at one of Waiheke's highest points.

Finish your walk off with a refreshing swim or a delicious coffee at one of the local cafes at Onetangi beach.

Duration: Approximately 3.5 hours (Start: 9 am. Finish: 12.30pm).

Meeting location: Start and finish at Charley Farley’s Restaurant & Bar, the Strand, Onetangi.

  • Moderate fitness is required - This guided walk is suitable for those who can walk up to 3.5 hours.

Notes

  • Waiheke Island is just a 35-minute ferry ride from Auckland - Ferry fare is not included.

    A minimum of 2 people required for the tour to commence. For single bookings please get in touch with the operator to confirm departure.
