Maze

Great experience, bad signage and service desk
Totally recommend going - a bit pricey for the time spent but myself and my teen loved it! Be prepared for bad signage to the actual venue from Aotea square and the street making it difficult to find. The person on the reception desk did not answer the phone when we couldn’t find it and looked as though she couldn’t care less about any customer. The guy who gave us instructions though was lovely! Don’t let those things out you off and go have a good time! (though if I was the owner I would have concerns.)

Was average
The employer told us if we were to want out to wave to the camera and he would come help. We did wave out for what felt like a long time and he did not come help us at all. When asked why he did not help us he’s said he never seen us wave out and that he would have been busy. Would not recommend.

Good but could be better
Sensory maze was good, enjoyed the maze itself. Reason. For 3 stars and not 5 is : Really hard to locate where to enter the building, thankfully maps on our phones took us to the address, from there I suppose the maze started - trying to find entryway. Signs to say walk through this place and go down two flights of stairs or something similar would suffice. Another family were outside trying to locate entry as well. I didn't realize that when you book, that there was two different levels of experience, so they explained to the family in front of us that they could go through the maze as many times as they wanted, I listened to our guy telling us to spend as much time as we liked in each room, but to be honest because I had heard the you can go in as many times as you like from the other guy, I didn't realize that they had purchased a different package. When we went to leave another family was arriving and they were quoted $150 to go through maze. Although I did enjoy the maze, it was really fun it was really quick and would have been hugely disappointed if I had paid $150 and it was over so quickly. I have just checked my times on my photos and we didn't just rush through - we took videos of most of the cool things and it took us about 15 mins to complete, that is with us experiencing rooms - not just walking through them. All in all I was really happy with the experience since we had got discounted entry. Staff were helpful and informative.

Definitely a Must Do in Auckland!
What an amazing time we had! Very hands on and interactive, a perfect place to spend time on a rainy day. I would 100% recommend getting the 3D glasses, and also recommend finding your inner child and enjoy being amazed!
