Dr Dimitri Douchin & his partner Caroline will educate you on the history of the Blue Mountains, tips on how to identify stars, and so much more.
This will be a fun interactive tour for you and your family. Hear the stories of the constellations, experience astronomy through the naked eye, and get introduced to the celestial dance of planets, satellites, navigation, the Universe, our home Galaxy and more.
Observe the sky through a professional-grade telescope and set your eyes on wonders such as The Moon and its craters and seas, Saturn’s rings, the moons of Jupiter, Mars & Venus, the Orion nebula, star clusters, double & triple stars, deep space objects such as galaxies and our fabulous Milky Way, and maybe even see some shooting stars. (sightings depend on the time of year and night)
