Roberta said... We were supposed to be picked up at 7 but only got pick up at 7:27. Around 9:30 we arrived at the cruise place We enquired about the morning tea because we were starting to get hungry (we all woke up really early to be available at 7am at the pick up point) and the driver said there was no morning tea. Different people enquire about it and he just said no, we don't do it anymore. We were at the gift shop waiting to hop on the boat for about 15 minutes and out of nowhere the driver asks us to go back in the bus. Apparently we lost the cruise time, no explanations whatsoever. We hopped in the bus and lots more of driving, the ferry is just a 5 minutes that you can't even get out of the bus. We stopped for 10 minutes on the Alexandra lookout. Around 11:30 we got to Cape Tribulation, 30 minutes free time. Nice place. No guided walk, no explanations. Lunch time, we had to choose a different meal from the menu between wraps and burgers which is a huge difference from the rib fillet or the barramundi from the brochure. But we all ate it, we were starving at 12:30pm without morning tea and no stops to eat even with our own money. When I and other people from the group enquired about the rib fillet and barramundi the driver said it changed and when I said it was a huge difference he said not really. We showed our bookings and he said they changed it. We said, ok. But we bought a different thing than what we are getting and he said he only works for the company. After lunch we stopped at the ice cream factory ,which looked good but it was cash only or you needed to pay $5 at the atm to withdraw. So I didn't have the ice cream there. We went back to the bus and to the crocodile cruise place. We waited for a few minutes and apparently there was no space for us and we drove to another cruise company. Apparently they do not book us on the cruise before we get there. The cruise was good, we spotted a few crocodiles. Just under an hour. No afternoon tea provided. We had a black coffee at the cruise gift shop and that was it. No guided walk through Daintree Forest. More driving to Port Douglas, 10 minutes stop to go to the toilet and take a photo of the beach. Run back to the bus. And there was one more stop at a lookout to take photos for less than 5 minutes. I got home exhausted and feeling sore from spending most of the day in the bus. Really not happy at the end!
