Reilly & Felicity said... Service. Staff over the phone were always courteous and prompt, made them easy to deal with. The two river guides were on another level. Couple o’ great blokes that had us in stitches the whole ride up the mountain. Friendly guys that make you feel like you were one of the locals. Had beers aplenty and very generous with the lunch they gave - even up to the point of virtually letting us choose what we wanted for lunch! Experience. I’ll start with the negatives - it’s a relatively long hike from Mission Beach or Tully up to the gorge. It’s the nature of the beast however and can’t be helped. More time on the rapids would have been excellent. Definitely do the full day cause you’ll want to milk it out as long as you can. It’s such a good feeling doing battle with the river, feeling not entirely in control the whole time in the best way. Go doubles with your missus, with your bestie, whomever. What a blast
