There are only 3 pools kids can go in (4 total). The pools themselves were very clean and the environment was great, but we were underwhelmed. I have no regrets about going though, and if it was the middle of winter I think I would be providing a different review, but it was a beautiful summers day when we went and we ended up leaving after an hour and swimming in Lake Tekapo for the rest of the afternoon. Lake Tekapo is beautiful, and I imagine in the middle of winter with snow on the mountains the outlook from the springs would be breathtaking.
