The Mud Run makes it possible for you to conveniently tick off a visit to one of the iconic natural attractions - either Waimangu Volcanic Valley or Wai-o-TapuThermal Wonderland.
Departing from Rotorua twice a day, will give you time to explore at your own pace on a self guided walking tour as you start your journey into the fascinating world of Steam, Mud & Colours.
Waimangu Volcanic Valley:
Take a beautiful journey through the boasting wild and rugged volcanic landscape.
Here you'll explore amazing hot water springs, unique plant life, majestic craters and an array of microbiology and bird life. The dramatic landscape will have you in absolute awe as you immerse yourself in the heart of the world’s youngest volcanic valley.

You will be greeted by New Zealand's most colourful geothermal attraction,You'll encounter one of the most extensive geothermal systems, unique terrace formations, steaming ground, bubbling mud pool and fascinating colours.

Amazing experience
Karen and her husban were such incredible people and amazing guides, they both have great knowledge about the place and are really happy to share about their culture. I had a lot of fun during my trip and got to see some incredible landscapes, they give you the perfect amount of time to see the park.

Mud run
Slim and Karen are the best! I recommend them to everyone. Very sweet accommodating and very knowledgeable of the place. We enjoyed it a lot!

Die Buchung über bookme hat bestens funktioniert, sehr einfach und zuverlässig. Der Shuttle war pünktlich, und unsere beiden Guides Caren und Slim waren großartig. Sehr freundlich, und sie gaben uns viele Informationen über Geschichte, Entwicklung, Geothermie, und alles was wir wissen wollten. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Amazing!!
Great shuttle service to the Waiotapu. The lovely couple that was driving us told us a lot about the park and the local culture. Would book again!
