Educational and Beautiful!
We had a ln overcast day but that didn’t stop us- check in was so easy- we borrowed an umbrella and had a great walk through the valley. Trails are easy and well maintained. We took to small detour up the stairs and the forest walk was peaceful. The wetlands walk was full of birds. We packed our lunch and ate at the picnic tables right by the boat dock. The ride was so nice- we could be inside or out and were comfy. The tour given by the captain was very good. Seeing the geothermal features of such an interesting place was super cool!

Excellent, well worth it
Great experience to do but need to be fairly able to do the walk. Excellent staff, office staff very helpful. Great walk and scenery, many native birds to see also. Amazing natural wonders. The walk is mostly downhill from the main reception. I opted for the boat trip and that is worth doing at least once. Views of Mt Tarawera, steaming lake banks, a geyser. Good onboard commentary. Was a windy day so was a little cold out on the lake. Good to has bus transport back to main reception. Would do this again.

Wondering experience
It’s really a full experience of the volcano eruption! The staff are so professional and friendly. Enjoyed every moment there!

Great experience
This experience exceeded our expectations. The panels along the walk and the information pamphlets were very informative. I also downloaded the Waimangu Valley app which I would recommend. The boat trip was special as you got to see more and from a different perspective. I would highly recommend this experience .

힐링의 시간이였습니다
2시간 정도 소요되는 트랙킹 거리가 부담이 될수도 있지만 천천히 자연을 느끼며 걸으니 힐링이 되더라구요.. 아이와 함께 한다면 천천히 걸으시면 좋을거 같아요..시간적 여유가 있다면 보트타는것도 추천합니다..그리고 bookme를 통해 할인된 티켓 구입으로 더 좋았습니다..^^
