First, we tour through the bustling city streets of Surfers Paradise and along the stunning beaches taking in all the sights and sounds.
Once we reach the Marina Mirage the real excitement begins as we "duck dive" into the water and begin our cruise along the waterways.
Children will get the chance to receive their free Official Aquaduck licence Certificate when they head up to help Captain the Aquaduck vessel.
Sit back and enjoy the sights of the Gold Coast Broadwater, millionaires row and Surfers Paradise before we head back to shore and return to our starting point.

Awesome!
I was on a Nana Adventure with my 5 year old grandson! I really valued how the staff came around to each individual, learnt the names of the kids and spoke to them. It was an awesome experience and I would recommend it for sure!

Disappointing
My husband and I were very disappointed with this tour. The seating is assigned based on a number you are given when you check in, you have no control over this assignment. On the duck, there are three rows of forward facing seats in the front and three similar rows in the back. The middle area of the vehicle has seating that has been converted to back-to-back, sideways facing, padded benches for five people each side. We were unfortunately assigned to this middle area, doubly unfortunate to be on the left facing side. Sitting here meant we saw nearly nothing of what was part of the tour commentary, including no view of the beach during the driving part of the tour! About 90% of what the guide discussed was on the right side of the vehicle, meaning behind our backs! And because the five of us on the bench were literally hip to hip, there was no way to even turn around to see these sights. It was very frustrating to constantly hear "on your right...." and have no view of what was being described. The explanation for this seating is to create room for people to walk around in the vehicle when it's in the water. The downside of this is that, if people did choose to walk about (no one really did, except the kids heading up front to "drive" the duck), they would be standing directly in front of the people seated on the benches, totally obstructing their view. I suggest looking for conventional seating arrangements if you're interested in taking a duck tour, or, better yet, just take the scenic river cruise, you'll see much more!

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are sorry to hear the experience was not what you expected. Our seating charts are a very important part of our boarding system and we use them to ensure family groups are seated together, so we don’t separate children from parents, or friends from each other. This is also to ensure there are no arguments between customers over seat preferences. The Aquaduck is also a refurbished LARC, which is a complex vehicle with many moving parts, originally designed with a focus on its amphibious nature. The layout of the bus is also designed specifically around the engine in the centre of the vehicle. The creators of Aquaduck worked hard to transform the vehicle into a customer-oriented experience, with 30 seats, large windows, and a layout maximised for guest experience. You will find very similar seating arrangements if visiting any other amphibious vehicles. Any other seating layout would be obstructed by the engine, and have customers facing each other, rather than out at the scenery. Due to this seating situation, our guides are very careful to ensure an even amount of sightseeing opportunities on both sides of the bus. We apologise if you felt the tour was one-sided as we work hard to ensure everyone has a fun and engaging tour. If you are interested in a scenic river cruise, we recommend booking with Scenic River Cruises, as our Aquaduck experience is more family-oriented and focuses on a fun, family-friendly, amphibious vehicle sightseeing experience. 91st Birthday surprise
While holidaying at the Gold Coast, I surprised my Mum with a "Bus Trip". It was after we climbed the Stairs onto the AquaDuck, that she learned that our "Bus" was also a "Boat". The weather was perfect, sunny with light winds. Which meant we had calm waters too. So Mum enjoyed her1st ever experience on the Aquaduck.

버스 자체는 좋았지만 가이드는 별로였습니다.
아쿠아덕 탑승하는 곳에 들어가면 사진을 찍자고 합니다. 퀄리티가 그리 좋지 않은 합성 사진을 사고 싶지 않다면 처음부터 찍지 마세요. 아무 생각 없이 찍었는데 버스에 타니 가이드 같은 나이 있는 여자분이 프린트한 사진을 내밉니다. 사진이 이상해서 안 산다고 했더니 예쁜데 왜 그러냐고 까다로운 사람 취급을 합니다. 그러고 나서 아이가 운전을 할 때 사진을 찍고 있으니 저한테만 앉으라고 하는 둥(다른 부모가 잠시 서있을 땐 아무에게도 앉으라고 하지 않았습니다), certificate도 바로 주지 않고(다른 아이들은 드라이브 마치자마자 주었습니다) 마지막에 하나 남으니 말 한마디 없이 내밀고, 마지막에 인사도 안 하고 본척만척하고, 은근한 무시를 느꼈습니다. 처음에는 나한테만 이러는지 긴가민가 하다가 묘한 무시가 두어번 지속되자 차별을 확신했고 그 뒤부턴 기분이 정말 안 좋았습니다. 하지만 수륙양용 버스 자체는 무척 좋았고 아이가 운전해보는 것도 너무 좋은 경험이었습니다. 합성 사진 자체를 좋아하지 않는 사람이라면 처음부터 사진을 찍지 말고 버스만 타세요!
