On this tour, you will discover the iconic coastline of Great Ocean Road - a location loved by tourists and locals alike, renowned for its breathtaking scenery and surrounding surf towns, quaint seaside villages, lush rainforest, and native wildlife along Kenneth River!
Tour Highlights & Itinerary:
Great ocean road chocolaterie try great samples of chocolate or just have a look around.
Drive back along Great Ocean Road and stop to spot local Eastern Grey Kangaroos. (we try to find them around the Anglesea golf club)
Visit the magnificent Memorial Arch and Eastern Beach - a beautiful location dedicated to the 3000 men who built the Great Ocean Road (great place for photos)
Visit Kenneth river where you can enjoy a scenic walk to see adorable koalas and wild birds.
Apollo Bay - Lunch is at your own expense (all dietary requirements are catered for in the town). After lunch, you can stretch your legs and explore some of the beautiful attractions of this famous town, or visit 12 Apostles where you can witness and be enthralled by the rugged splendour of magnificent limestone stacks that rise majestically on Victoria’s dramatic coastline. If you wish you book a helicopter ride (at your expense) please talk to your driver on the day.
Visit Loch Ard Gorge where you can take a walk under the shadows of towering limestone cliffs, click pictures of the inspiring Archway and explore the beach of shipwreck dating back to the 1870's.

Tolle Tour
Die Tour war wirklich spitze ? Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte alle mal - wir hatten sogar das Glück und konnten einen Wildkoala sehen. Also definitiv empfehlenswert um die Spots der Great Ocean Road zu entdecken.

Guide-Katastrophe
Die schlechteste Tour meiner ganzen Australien Reise. Der Guide erzählte gar nichts, sprach ein schlechtes Englisch und blieb immer im Auto sitzen. Er spielte eig. nur Taxi und war überhaupt nicht motiviert. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind voll überlaufen, deshalb besser mit eigenem Auto und gleich ganz in der Früh zu den 12 Apostel.

Roadtrip
Es war eine kleine Gruppe, alle ungefähr im Gleichen Alter. Der Fahrer machte einen guten Job. Ich hatte mich für die Tour entschieden, da ich im Moment kein eigenes Auto habe und mir dachte, dass dies eine gute Idee sei. Ich würde allerdings empfehlen doch ein Auto zu mieten und die Tour alleine oder mit Freunden zu machen und sich mehr Zeit dafür nehmen, da ich das Gefühl habe einiges der Great Ocean Road verpasst zu haben.

Enttäuscht
Die Tour war leider gar nicht gut. Wegen der bisher guten Bewertungen habe ich mich für diese günstige Variante entschieden, hätte im Nachhinein aber lieber mehr Geld gezahlt. Der Bus kam viel zu spät, da ein neuer besorgt werden musste (safety first, ok, aber man kann sich davor ja entschuldigen oder die Sache wenigstens besser kommunizieren). An jedem Stopp hatten wir nur 15 Minuten und mussten dann sofort wieder da sein, ansonsten hätte der Fahrer den letzten Stopp ausgelassen. Gefahren ist er wie ein Irrer - wir haben uns alle nicht sicher gefühlt.

Es war wirklich toll! Dom hat die lange Fahrt auf jeden Fall humorvoll gestaltet. Die Landschaft, die man dort gesehen hat, war einfach unbeschreiblich! Einfach wow! Und das zu einem so günstigen Preis. Danke!
