I jumped on this cruise expecting a simple ride down the Yarra, but it turned out to be one of the nicest ways to see Melbourne. The route gives you a relaxed front-row view of the city’s best landmarks without the rush or noise you usually get on the streets. The commentary was clear, easy to follow, and actually added to the experience instead of feeling scripted. The crew knew their stuff and kept the whole trip smooth and comfortable. The boat was clean, well-kept, and the seating layout gave everyone a good view no fighting for a window spot. What this really means is: if you want something calm, scenic, and genuinely enjoyable, this cruise is worth it. You get great photos, a peaceful break from the city, and a quick way to learn a bit more about Melbourne. I’d happily recommend this to families, first-time visitors, and even locals who want to see the city from a fresh angle. Great value and a really pleasant experience.
First 1 hour trip towards ports is good and 2nd half an hour to gardens is not worth it. Cruise driver attitude made the overall experience irritating. Though we had online booking on phone they relied on paper ticket so much. Once we boarded the Cruise we lost the paper ticket and after 1st hour they cross-check the ticket again but they were not able to validate the online booking from my mobile. We had to hop off board as driver arrogantly signalled to get of the Cruise. Then we had to get to the counter lady and she confirmed that it is a 2 hour trip. It was embarrassing as we visited as a family and our parents visited Australia for the first time. If the staff can't read or figure out what sort of trip it is from the online booking, why even bother to offer online booking?
Overall it was a great experience and informative. However I thought I had booked a full tour meaning we would cruise up and then down on the Yarra but instead we went one direction, came back to the start point and had to disembark. We then had to wait for some time, until we caught another boat to go up in the other direction to finish the full cruise. Not clearly stated when booking and we chose not to wait for the second half of the cruise.

原先訂City view 的行程,報到時才通知潮汐高度的關係,只能到 Williamstown. 好在風景也是很好。船上導遊也很客氣,認真介紹。只是往Williamstown 與City tour兩者價格不同,也無法退價差了。
