Discover your perfect Island terms and conditions

1.    Information on how to enter the promotion forms part of the conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed as acceptance of its terms and conditions.

2.    Entry is only open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over.

3.    Air New Zealand (the "Promoter") employees and their immediate families, participating agents and their associated agencies are ineligible to enter. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries.

Participants must visit https://islands.airnewzealand.co.nz/, complete the Discover your perfect Island quiz and follow the prompts to enter their details into the entry form. This will give the eligible participant one entry into the draw.

5.    Each eligible person may enter the competition once only. The Promoters will remove duplicate entries with the first entry being the only valid entry. 

6.    Promotion commences 00.01am 25 May 2026 and closes 11.59pm 31 May 2026 (the "Promotional Period"). Entries received before or after the promotional period will be ineligible for entry.

7.    Prize:

The prize details for the promotion include:

Return 'The Works' airfares for four (4) people (travelling together) from any Air New Zealand serviced domestic airport to the destination presented as their perfect Island flying Air New Zealand.

One winner will be randomly drawn from one prize pool on 4 June 2026. Attempts will be made to notify winners by phone at the contact email address provided on the promotion entry. If the Promoter, having used reasonable efforts, is unable to contact the winner prior to 4.00pm 11 June 2026, then the prize is forfeited and a further draw(s) from that prize pool will be conducted. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.  

If you are selected as a winner, the Promoter may publish your first name and the initial of your surname (e.g. "Mark S.") on www.airnewzealand.co.nz/competition-winners (or another dedicated page on the Air New Zealand website). Only winners from the current Promotion year and the immediately preceding year will be displayed.

8.    The winner is responsible for paying all additional costs associated with the prize that are not specifically included (as stated in clause 7), including (where applicable) transport, transfers, accommodation, meal costs, spending money, insurance and all other incidentals. The winner is also responsible for all necessary travel documents, including valid passports, travel visas and insurance. 

9.    Flights must be booked by 5.00pm 31 July 2026 and is subject to booking and flight availability. Travel will need to be completed before 31 March 2027, unless to a destination with seasonal flights. Travel during New Zealand Public or School Holidays, or large events, is not permitted.

10.    Travel is not permitted to commence from any origin point outside of New Zealand. Stopovers or stopovers within transit are not permitted. Prize winner and their guests must travel together on the same flights in both directions. Any prize details not specified above will be determined by the Promoters in their sole discretion. 

11.    Prize is non-transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash and is available on Air New Zealand operated services only.

12.    The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. 

13.    The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize in whole (or any of its components), with a substitute prize of equal or greater value.

14.    All prize travel will be subject to Air New Zealand's Conditions of Carriage, to view visit www.airnewzealand.co.nz/conditions-of-carriage. Prize travel will not be eligible to accrue Airpoints™ or Status Points and cannot be used in conjunction with Air New Zealand's Koru™ Programme or any other carriers' frequent flyer schemes. 

15.    The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any injury or damage to participants or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this promotion. Entries into this promotion will be stored only in the Air New Zealand booking database. 

16.    Neither the Promoter nor any other person or party associated with this promotion, shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this promotion or with any prizes offered.

17.    The Promoter collects entrants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. Acceptance of the prize is deemed consent for the Promoter to use the winner's details and photographs for promotional and media purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant.
