Established in 1968, Air New Zealand APU Services has extensive experience in APU maintenance and overhaul on the most common APU types currently being operated in narrow-body aircraft.
We continually develop our capabilities and have recently invested in a new state of the art APU test facility situated at our Christchurch International Airport based location.
Why Air New Zealand APU services?
Our principle objective is “to serve our customers on their terms and to be the most flexible, value driven APU maintenance provider – anywhere.” Our ability to provide specific maintenance services to meet unique customer requirements makes us an ideal choice when selecting a maintenance provider to look after your airline's valuable APU asset.
We hold EASA and FAA release approvals, are a Honeywell Channel Partner for the GTCP 131-9A/B and are a Pratt & Whitney approved service facility for the APS3200. Our overhaul approvals and capabilities along with ISO 9001 accreditation enables us to provide a comprehensive range of APU maintenance options for our customers.
Our highly trained personnel are able to carry out performance checks, overhaul, testing and certification under both EASA and FAA, ensuring that we provide a product that will meet your operational reliability requirements.
Our capabilities include, but are not limited to, APU performance testing, repair, overhaul and FAA/EASA release approvals on the APU types listed below.
In addition to our Honeywell (GTCP131-9A/B) and Pratt & Whitney Canada (APS3200) approvals, we also have access to Air New Zealand Component maintenance support for Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) overhaul, repair and testing requirements, to ensure that we are providing you with the expected level of service you require for the reliability of your fleet and a maintenance or overhaul solution tailor-made to suit your operational or financial requirements.
