Koru Reward Window
1. Promotional Period
The promotion commences at 12.00am NZST on 12 May 2026 and closes at 11.59pm NZST on 25 May 2026 (the "Promotional Period"). Entries received outside the Promotional Period are invalid. Each promotional day runs from 12.00am NZST to 11.59pm NZST.
2. Eligibility
Entry is only open to New Zealand residents aged 18 or over. Eligible Participants must either already be an Air New Zealand Koru member (formerly referred to as an 'Airpoints™ member') at the time of entry, or successfully sign up to become an Air New Zealand Koru member during the Promotional Period, (an "Eligible Participant").
Air New Zealand Limited (the "Promoter"), its employees, participating agents, associated agencies, and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and the eligibility of entrants.
3. How to Enter
During the Promotional Period, Eligible Participants may enter the Air New Zealand Koru Reward Window online game (the "Online Game") once per day.
To play, an Eligible Participant must visit the promotional landing page korurewardwindow.co.nz, sign in using their Koru account, or complete Koru membership sign-up if they are not already a Koru member, accept these Promotion Terms and Conditions, and complete the on-screen Reward Window entry process, including selecting and opening a Reward Window for that day. A completed entry that satisfies these requirements is a "Valid Entry".
An Eligible Participant may submit a maximum of one Valid Entry per person, per Koru account, per day during the Promotional Period.
4. Optional Marketing Consent
Acceptance of these Promotion Terms and Conditions is required to submit a Valid Entry. Any separate consent to receive marketing or promotional communications from Air New Zealand is optional and is not a condition of entry into this promotion.
5. Daily Prize Pool
Eligible Participants who submit a Valid Entry will go into the draw for that day to win a prize from the daily prize pool. Prizes available to be won during the Promotional Period include:
- 10 prizes of one year at Koru Gold tier plus 1,000 Airpoints each
- 20 prizes of one year at Koru Silver tier plus 500 Airpoints each
- 14 prizes of 500 Airpoints
- 16,520 prizes of 10 Airpoints
- 24,990 prizes of 5 Airpoints
- 14 prizes of 50 Status Points
- 20,020 prizes of 30 Status Points
- 30,030 prizes of 10 Status Points.
6. Grand Prize Draw Entries
Each Valid Entry submitted during the Promotional Period will automatically receive one entry into the Grand Prize draw. Because Eligible Participants may submit up to one Valid Entry per day during the 14-day Promotional Period, an entrant who submits a Valid Entry on each day of the Promotional Period will receive a total of 14 entries into the Grand Prize draw. An entrant who does not receive a daily prize on a particular day will still receive a Grand Prize draw entry for that Valid Entry.
7. Grand Prizes
At the conclusion of the Promotional Period, the following Grand Prizes will be drawn at random from the total pool of Valid Entries received during the Promotional Period:
- 1 prize of one year at Koru Black tier plus 5,000 Airpoints
- 5 prizes of one year at Koru Platinum tier plus 2,000 Airpoints each
8. Winner Selection and Notification
Daily prize winners and daily spot prize winners will be randomly generated at the time a Valid Entry is submitted. Winners of daily prizes will be notified using the registered email address on their Koru account. Airpoints and Status Points prizes will be credited immediately, and the winner will receive email confirmation.
Grand Prize winners will be drawn at random from the total pool of Valid Entries no later than 3 June 2026. Grand Prize winners will be contacted by both phone and email using the contact details associated with their Koru account. If a selected Grand Prize winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 14 days of the Promoter's first attempted contact, that winner will forfeit the prize and the Promoter may conduct a further random redraw to select an alternative winner.
9. Verification, Vetting and Replacement Winners
Air New Zealand reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline to award the Prize to a selected winner if it reasonably considers that the entrant has breached these Terms and Conditions, engaged in inappropriate or unlawful conduct, or if awarding the Prize would risk bringing Air New Zealand or the Promotion into disrepute. The Promoter may select a replacement winner by random redraw from the remaining Valid Entries.
10. Tier Prize Commencement
Where a prize includes a 12-month Koru tier benefit, that benefit will commence on 1 July 2026 for all qualifying winners. Any Airpoints or Status Points component of that prize will be credited earlier in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, and the winner will be notified by email.
11. Airpoints and Status Points
All Airpoints awarded under this promotion will accrue to the winner's Koru account and expire in accordance with the Koru Programme Terms and Conditions. Airpoints awarded as prizes for this promotion will appear in the member's account with an activity description of "Air New Zealand Promotion Prize".
All Status Points awarded under this promotion will accrue to the winner's applicable membership account and will appear with an activity description of "Air New Zealand Promotion Prize".
12. Prize Conditions
Prizes cannot be converted into cash and are not exchangeable or transferable. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize, in whole or in part, with a substitute prize of equal or greater value. The awarding of a prize may be reversed or cancelled by the Promoter if there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions by the winner.
13. Invalid Entries, Technical Issues and Promoter Rights
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, submits an invalid entry, or otherwise breaches these Terms and Conditions.
The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any injury or damage to a participant's or any other person's computer or device arising from participation in, or downloading any materials in connection with, this promotion. The Promoter may, acting reasonably, modify, suspend, or withdraw the promotion at any time.
14. Liability
Neither the Promoter nor any other person or party associated with this promotion will be liable for any loss, damage, cost, expense or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with participation in this promotion or with any prize offered, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
15. Privacy and Data Collection
The Promoter collects entrants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not be able to participate. Acceptance of a prize is deemed consent for the Promoter to use the winner's details and photographs for promotional and media purposes, without further reference, payment or other compensation, to the extent permitted by law. Please refer to Air New Zealand's Privacy Policy regarding the collection, use, disclosure and storage of personal information www.airnewzealand.co.nz/privacy. If you are selected as a winner, the Promoter may publish your first name and the initial of your surname (e.g. "Mark S.") on www.airnewzealand.co.nz/competition-winners (or another dedicated page on the Air New Zealand website). Only winners from the current Promotion year and the immediately preceding year will be displayed.
16. General
All dates and times are in NZST. Judges' decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
