  1. Information on how to enter the promotion forms part of the conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed as acceptance of its terms and conditions.

  2. Entry is only open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over. Eligible participants must be an existing Airpoints member or become an Airpoints member to win the prize.

    How to Enter: 

    To enter an eligible participant must follow the on-screen instructions. Once completed the participant needs to register their details, this will give the eligible participant one entry into the draw. If you do not wish to participate in the promotion, you can send a request to competitions@airnz.co.nz before the close of the Promotional Period to be excluded from the promotion.

  4. Participation in the Promotion is limited to one entry per person.

  5. Air New Zealand (the "Promoter") its employees and their immediate families, participating agents and their associated agencies are ineligible to enter. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries.

  6. Promotion commences 12.01am 11 April 2022 and closes 11.59pm 28 April 2022 (the "Promotional Period"). Entries received after this closing time will be ineligible for entry.

  7. One winner will be randomly drawn from one prize pool on 5 May 2022. Attempts will be made to notify the winner by phone at the contact telephone number provided on the promotion entry. If the Promoter, having used reasonable efforts, is unable to contact the winner prior to 19 May 2022, then the prize is forfeited and a further draw(s) will be conducted. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  8. The first valid entry drawn will win the prize of:
    • Return theworks flights from Auckland to Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast or Cairns for two people, valid on non-stop flights only.
    • Domestic New Zealand connecting flights if required
    • A $5000 travel voucher to be used and booked through House of Travel to go towards accommodation and land activities in Queensland.

  9. The winner is responsible for paying all additional costs associated with the prize that are not specifically included (as stated in this clause 8), including (where applicable) transport, meal costs, spending money, insurance and all other incidentals.

  10. Flights, accommodation and activities must be booked a minimum of 30 days prior to travel and will be subject to booking and availability. Travel and use of $5000 travel voucher must be completed by 30 June 2023. Travel during New Zealand and Australia public or school holidays, or large events, is not permitted.

  11. The prize cannot be converted into cash and is not transferable, refundable, exchangeable, or replaceable. The prize cannot be used to purchase gift certificates or lay-buys nor can be re-sold on auction websites, classifieds, or by other method of re-sale. The prize cannot be used for any other promotions/competitions.

  12. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.

  13. Travel is not permitted to commence from any origin point outside of New Zealand. Stopovers or stopovers within transit are not permitted. Prize winner and his/her guest must travel together on the same flights in both directions on Air New Zealand operated services only. Any prize details not specified above will be determined by the Promoter in their sole discretion.

  14. In the event that for any reason whatsoever the prize winner does not take an element of the prize at the time agreed by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by that prize winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.

  15. Once the prize has been arranged by the Promoter, changes to the travel, accommodation and other prize arrangements must be made by and are at the expense of the prize winner.

  16. Prize winner and his/her guest are liable for all visa, quarantine and customs requirements when entering Australia.

  17. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize in whole (or any of its components), with a substitute prize of equal or greater value.

  18. All prize travel will be subject to Air New Zealand's Conditions of Carriage, to view visit https://www.airnewzealand.co.nz/conditions-of-carriage. Prize travel will not be eligible to accrue Airpoints Dollars™ or Status Points and cannot be used in conjunction with Air New Zealand's Airpoints™ Programme or any other carriers' frequent flyer schemes.

  19. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any injury or damage to participants or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this promotion. Entries into this promotion will be stored only in the Air New Zealand database.

  20. Neither the Promoter nor any other person or party associated with this promotion shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this promotion or with any prizes offered.

  21. The Promoter collects entrants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion.
