    Step back in time to Ballarat’s gold rush days with an immersive outdoor museum experience!

We were there from 11.30 till the closing time and didn't even have time to see/do everything the park has to offer, there's definitely a lot going on and you'll be in for a full day if you attend all the demonstrations. We booked the paying mine tour and it was a highlight, strongly recommended even though it feels a bit like a Disney ride (not the same experience as other mines like, say, Bendigo, which is much more authentic) but it was great fun thanks to the guide/train ride. I also loved seeing a real gold bar being melted, or making my own personalized leather keychain for an additional note. An amazing day at Sovereign Hill :)
