Terms and Conditions – NZ Promotion

 

  1. All terms and conditions outlined in the Airpoints™ Programme Christmas Promotion apply (Promotion). See www.airnewzealand.co.nz/airpoints-christmas-promotion-terms-and-conditions for full terms and conditions.


  2. In addition to the 'Share of 30,000 Airpoints Dollars™ and prizes from Airpoints Partners, as outlined in the terms & conditions above, there is an additional prize draw for 3 x Tier Bonus prizes (1x Silver member will upgrade to Gold), (1x Gold member will upgrade to Elite) and (1x Elite member will receive an Elite Banked Year) to be won during the Promotional Period (Bonus Promotion). 

  3. Entry to the Bonus Promotion is only open to Eligible Participants who also hold Airpoints™ Silver, Gold or Elite membership during the Promotional Period. Each eligible entry in to the Promotion will also give the Eligible Participant one entry into the Bonus Promotion.

  4. One (1) winner from each of the Silver, Gold and Elite prize pools will be randomly drawn following the close of the Promotional Period on or around 24 January 2025.  The prize pools will be determined as at the date the Promotion close rather than as at the date of the transaction of the Eligible Entry. Each winner will win a prize of 1 Tier Bonus, as follows:

     

    (a) the Silver winner will be upgraded to Gold; 

    (b) the Gold winner will be upgraded to Elite; and 

    (c) the Elite winner will receive an Elite Banked Year. 


  5. Tier upgrades (from Silver to Gold and from Gold to Elite) will be effective for 12 months, and the Airpoints Terms and Conditions apply.  For the Elite winner, this banked year will be credited to the winner's Airpoints Account on upon acceptance of the prize.  It will remain in the Elite member's account and used when required, as per the Airpoints terms and conditions. When a Silver or Gold member redeems their tier upgrade prize, this will happen immediately, and any unused benefits will be removed and replaced with the new upgraded tier's benefits.  

  6. Attempts will be made to notify the winner by phone at the contact telephone number provided in the winners Airpoints account. If the Promoter, having used reasonable efforts, is unable to contact the winner prior to 7 February 2025, then the prize is forfeited and a further draw(s) will be conducted. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.  Members may select when they would like to redeem their Tier Bonus but must do so before 30 April 2025.  

  7. If after all reasonable efforts have been made, we are unable to contact the winner within a 14-day period after the competition closes, then a new winner will be drawn.
