Be in to win flights for two with OneSmart™ terms & conditions

  1. Information on how to enter the promotion forms part of the conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed as acceptance of its terms and conditions.

  2. Entry is only open to New Zealand residents who are current Air New Zealand OneSmart™ cardholders aged 18 years or over, who activated their OneSmart™ prepaid travel money card or loaded funds into their OneSmart™ foreign currency, during the Promotional Period.  Eligible entrants must have an active OneSmart™ card as at 11 October 2023 11:59pm NZDT. 

  3. Air New Zealand Limited (the "Promoter"), it's employees and their immediate families, participating agents and their associated agencies are ineligible to enter. The Promoters reserve the right to verify the validity of entries. 
  4. Each eligible person may enter the promotion once for foreign currency loads, and once for activating a OneSmart card only – maximum of two entries if all entry criteria is met. The Promoters will remove duplicate entries with the first entry being the only valid entry. 

  5. Promotion commences at 08:00am NZDT Wednesday 13 September and closes at 11.59pm NZDT Wednesday 11 October 2023 (the "Promotional Period"). Entries received after this closing time will be ineligible for entry.

  6. One (1) winner will be randomly selected from the prize pool on Tuesday 31 October 2023. Attempts will be made to notify the winner by phone or email at the contact telephone number/email address provided in the winner's Airpoints™ account. If the Promoter, having used reasonable efforts, is unable to contact the winner within 48 hours of initial attempt at contact, then the prize is forfeited, and an alternative winner will be selected at random. The Promoters' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 

  7. The winner will receive the following prize for themselves and One (1) guest:

    • Return premium economy airfares for two (2) people (travelling together) from any Air New Zealand serviced domestic airport to their choice of Air New Zealand international destinations, flying Air New Zealand. The winner is responsible for all costs associated with the prize that are not specifically included in the prize (as stated in this clause 7), including (where applicable) Visas, transport, meal costs, spending money, accommodation, insurance and all other incidentals. The winner is also responsible for all necessary travel documents, including valid passports, travel visas, insurance and any costs incurred where they make voluntary changes to flights including and not limited to change fees, service fees and fare difference.

     

  8. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, cannot be converted into cash, cannot be applied to any existing booking and may not be used in conjunction with any other competition/prize draw offer.

  9. The flights must be booked by 29 February 2024. Travel must be completed by 31 December 2024. Blackout dates over public holidays and Australian and New Zealand school holidays apply. If the winner is unable to redeem the prize before this close out date, the prize will be forfeited.   

  10. Travel is not permitted to commence from any origin point outside of New Zealand. Stopovers or stopovers within transit are not permitted. Prize winner and his/her guests must travel together on the same flights in both directions.
  11. All prize travel will be subject to Air New Zealand's Conditions of Carriage. Prize travel will not be eligible to accrue Airpoints Dollars™ or Status Points and cannot be used in conjunction with Air New Zealand's Airpoints™ Programme or any other carriers' frequent flyer schemes.
  12. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any injury or damage to participants or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this promotion. 
  13. Air New Zealand accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value and reserves the right to substitute the prize in whole (or any of its components), with a substitute prize of equal or greater value.
  14. Air New Zealand reserves the right to vary, suspend or terminate the promotion, or remove any entry at any time, for any reason including (without limitation) if the promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control of integrity, or proper conduct of this promotion. Air New Zealand reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, extend or suspend the promotion and/or prizes at any time for whatever reason to the extent permitted by law.
  15. To the extent permitted by law, neither Air New Zealand nor any other person or party associated with the promotion shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including, but not limited to, direct, indirect and/or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in the promotion or with the prize offered including for the avoidance of doubt; inability to travel or redeem the prize for any reason.
  16. The Promoter collects entrant's personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. Acceptance of the prize is deemed consent for Air New Zealand to use the winner's details, winning entry and footage of the winner and their companion taken during fulfilment of the prize from time to time for promotional and media purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation. Please refer to Air New Zealand's Privacy Statement at www.airnewzealand.co.nz/privacy regarding the collection, use, storage and deletion of personal information. All information will be held and used by Air New Zealand and may be accessed and amended at the individual's request. The winner's name and contact details will be shared with the other relevant parties to fulfil the prize. 
  17. These promotion terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and the courts of New Zealand shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising there from.
