2021 Koru Programme Membership 6 Month Status Extension

We know that the effects of COVID-19 have been widely felt by so many of our members, and regardless of where you reside it may continue to affect the way we live and travel for a little while longer. To recognise that the disruptions have continued to impact on Koru members ability to utilise Koru benefits, we have applied a six month extension to Koru memberships with expiry dates from 31 August 2021 onwards.

What is the Koru Programme Membership extension?

Current Koru members as of 31 August 2021 will have their membership extended for an additional 6 months (backdated from the expiry date).

Koru Membership Cards

With this membership extension, we will not be issuing any new Koru membership cards. Instead, members should ensure that they add in their Airpoints number (this is what your Koru membership is attached to) into their Air New Zealand bookings when travelling again, to enable access to their benefits.

Where will I see this change?

Koru members will be able to view their expiry dates when they log into their Airpoints account online. The new Koru expiry date will also be visible in the Air NZ app.

Learn more about Koru Programme Memberships here. If you do have any questions about what to expect when you travel at this time, our detailed COVID-19 hub and 24/7 travel alerts page  is updated regularly as more information comes to light.

We're looking forward to re-experiencing travel together and are busy getting ready for the return of a more frequent flight schedule, more travel opportunities on the horizon and we look forward to having you onboard soon.
