Join or sign in to your IHG® One Rewards Club account, go to My Account > Preferences and switch your earning method from points to Airline Miles. Select Air New Zealand then enter your Koru number.

Make a reservation through one of the approved channels: IHG® central reservation centers, IHG websites, authorised travel agents (excluding online travel agents like Expedia or Booking.com), or directly at the hotel.

Keep your receipt and allow up to 60 days for the points to post.
Airpoints can be earned at hotels in this group at the following rate:

Please allow up to 60 days for your Airpoints to appear in your account. Retain your original receipt or invoice in order to claim any missing Airpoints. Claims may be made through your Air New Zealand online account by logging into your account and selecting the My Bookings tab, then the Claim missing Airpoints button. You must claim missing Airpoints within 6 months of your stay.
