There are so many ways to spend your Airpoints Dollars™, you'll probably find the hardest thing is choosing how to make the most of them.
If there's a seat for sale on an Air New Zealand ticketed and operated flight, and you have enough Airpoints Dollars in your account, you can book an award ticket. It's as simple as that!
With the trans-Tasman Alliance with Virgin Australia from 26 July 2011 you can also book any seat available for sale as an award ticket on an Air New Zealand flight operated by Virgin Australia. These flights have will be numbered:
- NZ100-NZ999 Air New Zealand operated Tasman flights
- NZ7900-NZ7998 Virgin Australia operated Tasman flights
- NZ7000-NZ7899 Virgin Australia operated Domestic Australia flights
How far can your Airpoints Dollars take you? 'How far can I go' also shows flight options including partner airlines.
If you wish to use your Airpoints Dollars to fly on Star Alliance airlines and our other airline partners, check out the redemption ticket options.
On the ground, you can redeem your Airpoints Dollars for car rental, hotel accommodation (but not holiday packages), cruises and Koru Club membership.
You can also spend your Airpoints Dollars on a superb range of products at www.airpointsstore.co.nz or gift rewards to other people living at the same address as you - even if they're not Airpoints™ members themselves.

How to request your flight reward
Online
Booking Airpoints rewards online is quick and easy, and with no service fees for online bookings, you'll save money. You can now pay for all Air New Zealand operated flights online with your Airpoints Dollars, even to long-haul destinations. Start your booking here, then follow the instructions. Have your credit card handy to pay for any applicable airport and government costs.
Please Note: Companion tickets and journeys that include flights on our partner airlines cannot be booked online at present - for these rewards, please call your nearest Air New Zealand Contact Centre. Applicable service fees apply.

Call your nearest Air New Zealand Contact Centre and have your Airpoints membership number ready. You will need your credit card to pay for any applicable taxes, levies and surcharges. Please allow three working days for us to process your request.
