Claim missing Airpoints Dollars™
Missed out on Airpoints Dollars™ or Status Points? You may be able to retrospectively claim Airpoints Dollars™ or Status Points from your activity with Air New Zealand or with one of our partners. Keep reading for further details on how to claim.
Airpoints Dollars and Status Points earned on an eligible flight should appear in your Airpoints™ account within 72 hours of each completed flight. Airpoints Dollars and Status Points earned on eligible Partner airline flights should appear in your Airpoints account up to 10 to 15 working days after each completed flight. However, if you have not received your Airpoints Dollars or Status Points from an eligible flight with Air New Zealand, a member of the Star Alliance, or a Partner airline flight then you will need sign in and complete a claim missing Airpoints form.
Claims for missing Airpoints Dollars and Status Points from flights may only be claimed once travel is completed, and must be claimed within six months of your original flight.
Hotels or rental cars
Airpoints Dollars and Status Points earned through eligible Airpoints Rental Car Partners or eligible Airpoints Hotel Partners are added to your account at the end of the month in which you completed your car hire or hotel stay. If you believe you have not received your Airpoints Dollars or Status Points you may be able to claim missing Airpoints Dollars and Status Points. You will need to fill out and print a missing Airpoints claim form for any Airpoints hotel or rental car partner and send this along with relevant documentation to us. Airpoints Dollars may only be claimed once travel is completed, and must be claimed within six months of your original transaction.

If you have shopped online at the Airpoints Mall and made an eligible purchase but have not received the Airpoints Dollars for your purchase within 7 working days of your purchase, please sign in to your Airpoints account and visit the contact us page at the Airpoints Mall and fill out the missing Airpoints claim form.
Airpoints Dollars or Status Points earned on eligible purchases with an Airpoints™ credit card are added to your Airpoints account each month on your account cycle date, determined by your bank. If you believe you have not received Airpoints Dollars or Status Points earned through your Airpoints credit card four weeks or longer after your transaction date these then please call us on 0800 247 764. Please have your credit card statement handy.
If you have made an eligible purchase from a Fly Buys retailer before midnight 16 October and scanned your Airpoints Card, but have not been awarded your Airpoints Dollars or you believe the amount awarded is incorrect, then please call Fly Buys on 0800 359 2897 (Mon-Fri, 8am-6pm, excluding public holidays).
Airpoints Dollars earned on eligible purchases at an Airpoints retail partner will be added to your Airpoints account within one month. If you believe you have not received your Airpoints Dollars earned one month or longer after the transaction date then please contact the retailer directly.
