Fare terms and conditions
Air New Zealand is introducing change flexibility for all new international tickets purchased from 5 to 31 March 2020.
All fares are eligible for Airpoints Dollars™ and Status Points, unless booked in N or F class (grabaseat™ Greenlight fares) or purchased with Airpoints Dollars. Each fare has a different earning rate. For details see our Airpoints™ calculator.
We fly to 20 domestic destinations around New Zealand and there's a choice of fares on every route, so you only pay for what you need. All our domestic fares offer a standard seat, some allow changes on the day of travel and flexidate is fully refundable. Check out the options and choose the one that suits you best.

Regional Gotta Go: last minute fares to/from regional airports
One-way set price seat fares that are only available for purchase via our contact centre between 60 and 90 minutes before departure to or from a regional New Zealand airport. They can only be purchased if you do not already hold a booking for the same day for the same route.
Compassionate: for a family death or critical medical situation
If you have an unexpected life-threatening medical situation or death in your immediate family, we may be able to reduce the cost of new domestic New Zealand bookings or changing existing bookings on Air New Zealand services.
Our Trans-Tasman fares are for flights between New Zealand and Perth, Brisbane, Cairns, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, the Gold Coast or the Sunshine Coast in Australia.
